Q. Do I have to purchase a ticket to bid?
A. Yes. Click purchase ticket and register your card in order to bid on any packages.
Q. What time does the auction event start at the Court House Square downtown Tacoma and what is the attire?
A. The doors open for check-in, registration, refreshments and appetizers at 5:30 p.m. with event starting at 6 p.m. Attire isn't formal but have fun and dress up!
Q. If buying more than one ticket, do I need to add names?
A. Yes, you will need to have your guest's information to enter at the time of purchasing tickets.
Q. How do I register my credit card information so that I’m ready to bid in the silent auction?
A. It’s easy, you don’t even need to use a registration code. Simply select, Buy My Tickets and Register. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and check the box, "As a convenience, you may pre-register...I authorize Sound Christian Academy ..." then hit next. This will take you to a page that say's "Cardholder Information & Credit Card Information". Please fill that information and press "Submit for Processing". You are now all set and ready to attend the auction on March 23, 2024!
Q. Can I bring anyone to the SCA Auction?
A. Yes! The SCA Auction is open to all friends and family!
Q. What is a Golden Ticket?
A. Each golden ticket is $100 and enters you into a drawing for your chance to win $1,000. The drawing will be held on March 23rd at the event during the LIVE auction portion.
Q. Now that I have registered, how do I get ready for the Auction?
A. Closer to the event, you will be sent an email or link with the information you provide with registration with information and reminders on the event, bidding and when new packages are about to open or have been added!
Properly filling out all your information and registering your credit card online expedites your time at check-in at the auction and is the ONLY WAY YOU MAY BID on any items. If a table host has entered information for you, it’s important that they include a current email address and or phone number so we can reach you to process your information and get you a bid number.
Q. What is the Dessert Dash?
A. When you take your seat at your dinner table you’ll find a Dessert Dash bid card. Each person or couple at the table will put their bid number down and make a contribution. The bid cards are added up during dinner. The table with the largest total donation gets to choose their dessert first. This is a delicious way to contribute to Sound Christian!
Q. If I am a winning bidder in the silent auction, how do I get my items?
A. Silent and Live bid items that are won may be picked up the night of the auction or picked up the following week at the school in the Administrative Offices M-F during the hours of 8-4 PM. You may also contact cnicholas@soundchristianacademy.org or call 253-475-7226 ext. 203.
Q. What kind of parking is available at the event?
Street Parking- is available and it is $2/day until 6pm.
Garage parking- all within a 5-minute walk of the venue. Rates vary. Expect approximately $2/hr. with a $16 daily max.

Free Park & Ride
Park at the Tacoma Dome Station (424 E. 25th St) and take the free link light rail four stops downtown to the Commerce St/South 11st St Station (S. 11th & Commerce St), then walk the remaining four blocks to the venue. It’s about a 10-minute ride and trains leave every 12 minutes from the Tacoma Dome Station.
